Architect Designed Blackwood Tri Level House

With a steep block in the Adelaide hills a creative solution was the answer.

The design aims was to create a large family forever home that utilized the natural contours and orientation of the land . The result was a mid century modern tri – level split home that sits boldly yet comfortably within the landscape. The design enhances the natural aspects of the land reducing the need for retaining walls, letting the land flow naturally.

The desirable northern aspect for the main living areas determined the orientation of the design and informed the large skillion roofs which will allow for a vast array of future solar panels and a large outdoor entertaining alfresco area.

The generous entry and main central living area with views is the central hub of the home and is connected by upper and lower level bedroom zones and flows open onto a large covered alfresco area.
